One project team. Vacate, decommission, install — without taking your operations offline.
Brant Business Interiors runs office relocations end-to-end — not just the furniture moving piece. Inventory audit, decommission, responsible disposal, phased install in your new space, post-move punch-list. Family-owned since 1964 — the project coordinator who scopes your move is the one who runs it. Multi-site and multi-floor moves a specialty.
Move your office without moving your team off-track.
Brant Business Interiors is the family-run Ontario office furniture dealer most buyers know us by. The legal entity behind our OECM agreement is Brant Basics — same team, same address at 296 George St N, Peterborough. Family-owned since 1964; we run relocations as a single project, not a hand-off between vendors.
Office relocations fail when logistics aren’t coordinated. We manage the complete scope — furniture decommission, inventory audit, responsible disposal or resale, phased install in the new space, and post-move punch-list. Your facilities team isn’t juggling three contractors. One project coordinator, one Ontario account team, from PO to staff move-in day.
Whether you’re moving a 10-person office, a multi-floor institutional site, or coordinating phased moves across multiple buildings, the project plan is built around your occupancy dates and operational access windows. OECM Agreement 2025-470 covers relocation services for eligible Ontario broader-public-sector buyers — no separate tender required.

Four phases from vacating to move-in day
Phase 01
Inventory & planning
We audit your existing furniture, identify what moves, what disposes, and what replaces. A phased project plan is built around your occupancy dates and facility access windows.
Phase 02
Decommission & disposal
Our team removes, packs, and responsibly disposes of or donates outgoing furniture. We handle coordination with your building management for dock access and disposal logistics.
Phase 03
New-space installation
All new and relocated furniture is installed to your approved floor plan. Workstations assembled, seating adjusted, and cable management completed before your staff arrives.
Phase 04
Post-move punch-list
We return to address any adjustments, missing items, or warranty concerns within the first two weeks of occupancy. The job isn't done until your team is settled.
Brant Business Interiors is the operating brand of Brant Basics, our OECM-registered legal entity holding Supplier Partner Agreement 2025-470. Family-owned since 1964, headquartered at 296 George St N, Peterborough, ON K9J 3H2. Part of the Office Central group.
Relocation management — FAQ
-
Yes. Full-scope relocation covers decommissioning the existing space and full installation in the new one. We coordinate both sides of the move under one project manager so nothing falls through the cracks between contractors.
-
Yes. Our relocation services aren't limited to furniture we originally supplied. We inventory, move, and reinstall your existing pieces alongside any new furniture included in your project. Send us a rough inventory and we’ll quote both the move scope and any replacement spec in one quote.
-
We can arrange responsible disposal, donation to registered non-profits, or resale depending on the condition of items. For institutional clients with surplus asset policies, we'll work within your disposal requirements. Ask about this during your quote call.
-
For a typical office relocation, we recommend engaging us 8–12 weeks before your occupancy date. Larger institutional moves (full-floor or multi-site) benefit from 12–20 weeks of lead time. Contact us early — we can fit a scoping call into 1 business day.
-
Yes. Multi-site and multi-floor moves are common for school boards (summer relocations across multiple buildings), hospital wing reconfigurations, and municipal office consolidations. Our project coordinator builds a phased schedule that respects occupancy dates, dock-access windows, and operational continuity at each site. One PM for the whole project — not a hand-off between site teams.
-
Yes. For occupied clinics, operating hospital units, live municipal offices, and school summer windows, after-hours and weekend moves are standard. We schedule around your operations and your facility access requirements. Mention your operational constraints at quote time and we’ll build the schedule accordingly — no premium charged for off-hours work on most projects (we’ll flag if your scope adds cost).
Planning a move? Let’s scope it.
